IPAD

When I view my Apple products in settings. I have two IPADS. One is listed as 'IPAD' and one is listed as "IPAD 2"

Can I delete one of these in settings?

Yes. Tap on the device you wish to remove, then choose “Remove from account” at the bottom.


If you don’t see this option, you have probably selected your current device, which naturally cannot be removed this way.

Hi leonoraSwerling59. Jacob here. Yes you can, you can either remove the device from your account, which would stop its access to your account and iCloud would stop syncing between that device and your other devices. Alternatively, if you just wanted to rectify the strange naming convention which you mentioned, you can go into settings> General> About, tap the Name field and enter a name of your choice, This will then reflect in your account page.
