Sound or ID issues - corruption

Will try to make brief, but it's complicated. Had iPad Pro that developed weird glitches with sound. All video with audio started malfunctioning. Play stutters, also random sound bits just happen when I'm not in any app, just at apps screen. The players don't respond to Stop button, keeps going. All video is non-functional. Random sound bits keep on. Took it to Genius Bar and they found a bunch of other anomalies so they thought it was just because it was slowly dying.

Purchased new iPad Pro with trade-in. Brought it home, set it up from scratch, didn't transfer data, at Genius Bar's suggestion. Within 2 hrs it was malfunctioning in exactly the same way! Brand new device! Wondering if my ID was corrupted. Wiped & re-done many times, even loading apps 1 at a time & testing. Created new Apple ID. Went to Youtube and it was playing fine for a few min. Thought problem solved. Downloaded FB and went to watch vids there to be sure. Started doing it again! Deleted FB app, made no difference. I used same name & phone # when I created new ID because I only have one phone. It literally won't stop playing, I had to manually shut it off or it would keep playing until the battery ran out.

Am physically not able to go back and forth to my Apple store. ANY help would be appreciated, please! When Apple Support wants me to verify my identity, I don't know where to look for the codes they send me.

Your Apple ID would not cause issues with multimedia playback as mentioned in your post. It is very strange that this is happening even with a new device if you set it up as new without transferring data.

What version of iPadOS is installed? Do any other devices in your home have similar issues? Only other factor I could think in this situation would be connection strength with your network, but that wouldn’t explain not being able to play/pause when selected.

I keep it updated to latest, but this has been going on off and on since March, starting in bad last week. Genius Bar attributed it to dying device, but no. Wi-fi gives few issues generally. Could a sudden drop for a few secs or being caught in some kind of loop do this? Although it has been functioning as it should when there's a momentary dip. It's like there's a personal demon following me around.
