How to change the color of the time indicator at the top right of my display?

I don't believe the time showing on my display has always been difficult to see. I think it's because the font is in grayish color. It's hard to see the time. How do I fix this?

to each their own. I know people who both do and don't use regular restarts. I haven't really seen much of a difference. but to me, with all flash storage, it's worth my time to do regular restarts to pre-empt potential issues with caches filling up and such. on my Mac it only takes ~20 seconds from shutdown to get to the login window.

Oh, I certainly wasn't judging. Just being mildly amused by the difference in how people do things. I have enough trouble remembering to empty the cat box every night. I don't think I have the cognitive capacity for another routine chore. Is it just me or does it sometimes seem like adulthood is one endless string of routine chores? ;-)

I didn't take it as judging. my post was also more about the amusement in the many different ways in which we use our Macs. :)
