Why does Facebook open when I attempt to open an item shared to me in messenger? The item does not open. Safari is my default browser. On my iPad Pro 6th generation running IOS 16.5.1
My iPhone 12 running the same IOS does not do that.

It is incumbent upon the developer of an app to make sure
it works with the latest iOS version.
Contact Facebook for assistance with their app.
And facebook isn’t an Apple app or Apple issue.
Hence ask Facebook about their product

I was not asking Facebook. I was hoping to get advice on how to solve the issue from an intelligent source in the community.
The issue is only with Apple products and only since the second last IOS update for me.
