Receiving a Refund

Hey everyone, last week I purchased an app but right after that I requested a refund. The next day I received an update in the "Report a problem" section that my request is accepted i.e. the status changed to "refunded."

However, I still haven't received the money. Now, I don't expect to get them right away but I was wondering if there's a way to get any updates on the situation.

The thing is, my country isn't listed in the support sections so I can't talk to a live chat agent or via the messages app.

And what bugs me is that before sending the refund request I had removed my credit card number and info from my profile's payment method. Can this be a problem and prevent Apple from sending me the money, or they should have the needed info via transaction history and stuff? Or should I re-enter my info just in case?

Also, as a side note, as of now, the app is still operational and I haven't lost access to it.

Thanks.

If Apple has approved your request, see this Apple article: Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple

Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you've bought from Apple – Apple Support (UK)

When will I get the money back?

If your refund is approved, the funds will be applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item

Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit – It may take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.

Mobile phone billing – It may take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time may be affected by your network provider. You can contact your network provider for an update.

All other payment methods – It may take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you can't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.
