HomePod mini still unable to serve as a speaker for music. I just want to play my own music from my iPad Pro on the HomePod mini. For thr life of me, I cannot find any instructions on how to do so wirelessly via Bluetooth. Seriously, this is ridiculous! This should be one of the most used features, and it has been more than long enough for the problem to be solved. So frustrating!

Using HomePod mini as a Bluetooth speaker from the iPhone I have the most recent version of the iOS for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. 18. I also have a new HomePod mini Why can’t I use the HomePod mini as a speaker anyway another Bluetooth speaker might work? Why is it? I cannot play audio unless it’s using strictly the music app on my HomePod? Whose idea was this? This is not using Apple technology efficiently. It is also not serving the user community efficiently

no, the only purpose of bluetooth in airpod is configuration from iphone, all airplay stuff is wifi and homepods can't connect and use other airplay sources only be used as a such
