Charged multiple times in a month

I have Apple Music the family one $16.99 I only have one other person on it, and its been charging me multiple times a month almost every week it charges me. Luckily I don’t always have money on my CA Card. Why is it doing that like this month I paid the $16.99 on June 19 then it’s saying I have to pay again today that’s only 10 days. Wouldn’t it wait till the next month on the day I paid it so July 19??

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Your Name (Apple ID)
  3. Tap on Subscriptions


Can you verify there is only one plan in the Active section? Please note all Apple One plans come with Apple Music, only the Individual plan cannot be shared - Apple One - Apple. Is there an Apple Music and Apple One plan?


Do you have Purchase Sharing enabled within your Family Share group? If so, and you're the organizer, all purchases will go through the default sharing payment method which is usually the default payment method of the organizer's Apple ID.


  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Family
  3. Tap on Subscriptions


You should be able to see all subscriptions here. Are there multiple Apple Music plans and/or an Apple One plan with an Apple Music plan?


Just in case, please verify the other member of your Family Share group does not pay for their own Apple Music or Apple One plan.

Strange. And you are sure the other member of your Family Share group does not also pay for this?


Could you also visit reportaproblem.apple.com and authenticate? Verify two charges aren't appearing here when you filter Apple ID by All. You can also filter by your Apple ID or the other member of your Family Share group. Make sure there is not multiple charges.
