Macbook Pro keeps crashing and rebooting

Hello, The latest software upgrade combined with Bitdefender ((I think the VPN in particular) seemed to be causing crash issues, so I have removed BD altogether and tried to run Disk Utility > First Aid twice, but that runs and then the system completely shuts down and/or reboots. And every single time today I have tried to send the crash report to Apple the system completely locks up.


The error keeps saying "panic" in it, but there's plenty of memory with 16 GB, and I have plenty of hard disk space too.


I ran a virus check with Bitdefender when I had it, and it found absolutely nothing so I think the system is still choking on some sort of incompatibility, but as of right now, the fan is just whirring in the screen is black again.


Any ideas on what to do next? Thank you.
