"No space left on device" - problem fixed.


I am reposting my reply to the Safari issue "No space left on device error". I am 99.9% certain the issue is related to the Cisco AnyConnect VPN. I had this annoying error for at least a year, but recently realized that in the background, I was running the Cisco "socket filter". If you are getting this error, check your network preferences to see if you are running the Cisco socket filter. Since my organization was no longer using the Cisco VPN, I was able to un-install anything related to the vpn, and the problem has gone away. I have not seen the error in the two months since un-installing the socket filter and anything else.


If you are actively using the Cisco VPN, then you should probably take up the issue with Cisco.
