Check that document and you will see that it is at least a year out of date. The instructions in that document do not apply with recent versions of iOS 16.x.

Kind of a Catch 22 here, since the correct instructions are on the Developer Site.....but we can't post them here.

For now, best to do as Kilted Tim has done and refer users to the Developer Site. That is the only place you can get the iOS 17 beta software since the Public Beta has not even been released. So anyone who has installed the beta must have visited the Developer Site. (or, I guess they could have a bootleg copy they got who knows where) No support in that case.

In the past, we were allowed to post an Apple Support document with instructions on how to remove the Public Beta. Hopefully, we will be able to do that again soon.

But, with no Public Beta yet, we have no up to date document from Apple regarding that topic.
