There are a few things which could be labeled as “Emergency SOS,” or just “SOS.” Please tell us in detail what you’re seeing, and you can even share a screenshot, which would be very helpful.

If you see No Service or Searching in the status bar on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), your device isn't connected to a cellular network. If you see SOS or "SOS only" in the status bar, your device can still make emergency calls.

Obviously, turning off the SOS on the side button completely
i have done this and still when I press the side button it has emergency sos it’s a problem because my phone keeps crashing and I can’t force restart it because of it
