I just upgraded to a new iPhone 14 and upgraded the iOS from 16.4 (no new emojis on my phone) to 16.5.1 and there are still no new emojis. I've searched for "wifi", "ginger", and "pink heart" and nothing comes up. I've done some random scrolling too and still nothing. Any ideas? They do show up on my iPad Air at 16.5.1.
LOL! That's just weird. I figured between it being a brand new phone and then me upgrading it to 16.5.1, which forces a reboot, that they'd just be there. Reboot worked. In this case the classic "did you turn it off and back on again" was actually the solution. Man I'm embarrassed. Thanks!

Restart your device and check again.

I did the reboot but my large emojis never came back up. I recently updated to 17.01 and the emojis went away. The small ones are there but the large animal faces with hearts are all gone.
