I upgraded my Google storage plan to 2TB. I initially picked payment through Apple as payment method. Now, payment is not working for certain reason I am not sure what it’s. I need to change the payment method to normal card payment ASAP to avoid storage suspension. Google One Support Team referred me to contact Apple support to resolve the problem. Any advice please ?

Is this a subscription that you purchased through a Google app? Google support may have been correct. You may need to cancel your subscription or switch the payment method of your subscription.
