Final Cut Pro - how can I rejoin clips that were originally split from the same clip?

Hi,

How can I rejoin clips that were originally split from the same clip?

I can't do Control-Z to undo, because it's too far back.

Thanks,

If you are referring to a through edit, where there is an edit in a clip that essentially is a split point in continuous material, then select the edit point by clicking on it and then go to the menu Mark > Join Clips - or use the keyboard shortcut of the delete key.

Thanks but the Trim->Joins Clips is disabled. I also made a test, cut a clip (with Cmd-B) and immediately after tried to join them back (without doing a simple undo with cmd-z) and Trim->Joins Clips was also disabled. It is very simple to do this in iMovie with Cmd-J.

Unless you meant something else by ‘Join Clips’. Thanks again.
