iPod Nano 16GB 4th Generation : Order of Music

In my MacBook iTunes, I have put my music in alphabetical reverse order (Z - A); when syncing it to the iPod, my iPod Playlist (in iTunes) shows it is the same; however, when I look at Music or Songs in the iPod (which are the only listings I have, + Now Playing), it is standard A-Z. Why is this not syncing Z-A like iTunes shows? How to do? Thank you -- help appreciated.

I don't have a nano, but if there is an option to reverse the alphabetical Songs list, it will be under the Sort menu in the Songs view. However, if the nano is like other iPods, the only option in the songs list is the standard A-Z. Why? I don't know, that was Apple's decision.

If your alphabetical list is long, an A-Z index appears on the right of the list, which allows you to quickly move between letters.
