I cant watch movies on iTunes! Help!

This has been a problem for months. I can't watch any of the movies Ive bought from Apple. I cant watch rented movies. It doesn't matter if I try to stream them or download them. Streaming the movie doesn't play and when downloaded I can only hear the audio and see a jumbled mess instead of the movie. What can I do? I want to watch movies at some point of my life.

This stinks. What are my options? What can I do?

I've mentioned this problem to Apple in the past and they haven't done anything to fix it. Is there something else I can do?

Apple is the only one that has the movies we like in the languages we like.

The computer is a 12th gen Intel core i5 computer with Windows 10 on it.

Windows, Windows 10

Thanks. I'll look into it and get back later.

I had this problem with my previous computer with two graphics cards (quad SLI, two GPUs per graphics card, 2nd Gen Intel Core i7).

This new computer has integrated graphics and has the same problem (12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400T with 8.00 GB RAM on motherboard).

iTunes is the only app I have a problem like this with. Any other video player (WMP, Microsoft Movies and TV, VLC Player, and a few more) don't have any problems at all.

Well, I tried both of those and it hasn't helped. I dedicated 512MB of RAM to just graphics. As far as I can tell, that's the maximum I can do with 8GB of total RAM. I'm also having to do this by editing the registry, something that shouldn't be necessary on a brand new computer.

Before that I also made sure I had the latest video drivers. According to Windows Update I did have the latest driver. But on the Intel Page I found a couple newer drivers. One was a Beta, so I opted for the other one which still was very recent from a few months ago.

I tried watching a 99 cent rented movie (since I asked for refunds for the movie I bought but couldn't watch) but it didn't work, neither before, nor after the video driver update, nor after dedicating 512MB RAM to video.

Update!

I tried downloading the movie and it worked this time! Before any movie I downloaded or streamed didn't work. Now just streaming isn't working.

I will try a movie I actually want to watch later and see if it works. But we'll have to wait for movie night for that.

So we finally got around to watching a movie again on iTunes since years ago before this issue started. The cheap rental I had gotten I just lost my money on it as it was a test. Anyhow NO! It did not work again.

This is it for me. I was on the fence of getting Apple Music, but I don't want to get into the Apple ecosystem if the ecosystem doesn't work. I am sick of renting and asking for refunds because the movies won't play on iTunes.
