Hi,
On my Mac mini running Ventura, my Apple TV App has a Red Notification Dot. On my 2015 MBP running Monterey, no Red Dot. I have tried turning Notifications off, restarting, & then on, but the red dot always re-appears. How do I "view" this notification or otherwise get rid of this Red Dot? (I'd rather leave notifications on for the App, if possible).

Yes, this is a new M2 Mac mini. However I activated the three months Apple TV+ Subscription and cancelled it at the end. So theoretically no free offers. What I don't get is why I cannot view the notification the red dot is referring to

Did you recently buy a new Mac or other Apple product? The Apple TV app may be trying to give you a free trial.
Ahh shucks, I thought that perhaps the trial was the notification. Maybe it's trying to let you know about a new show episode, or something? That's all the ideas I've got, though.
Thank you for the ideas - it's always nice when someone takes the time to try and help. It looks like I need to get Apple to answer or help directly.
