About updates and 16.5.1 last one

I uploaded my iOS to 16.5.1 and now I can’t use my facial login anymore. This is not a question to the community but a severe technical problem raised to Apple

iPhone 7, iOS 15

No, it is not as you indicate. First of all, I have already fixed the problem, by going to settings and by reprogramming again the Face ID & passcode of all my devices... Anyway, concerning your comments... Am I into a great problem because I might not go to the official service? Are you sponsored by Apple? Should be you sponsored, You must disclose it.

Please note that the same thing happened to me with the new update on all my devices (two iPhones and the iPad)… on the older iPhone, I have, the battery was not supplied by an official supplier. It works really well and I hope that Apple is not putting undue barriers to the market because it would be contrary to the rules of competition and an unacceptable abuse of its dominant position. With version 15.2 or whatever version it was before, it worked perfectly so please Apple, correct the glitch ASAP.

The problem faced by you is twofold.

  • With iOS 15.2 and later and iPhone XR, iPhone XS models, and later—including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)—you can go to Settings > General > About for the parts and service history of your iPhone. You can also find out if the battery has been replaced. If the replacement was done using genuine Apple parts and processes, "Genuine Apple Part" will appear next to Battery.
  • If you have got your iPhone serviced through an unauthorized service center or you have bought a serviced iPhone you are into great trouble. I feel sorry for you.

If you had updated to iOS 16.5.1 after iOS 15 then you may deem to think it is because of iOS 16.5.1 but it is actually because of iOS 15.2
