How do I move photos from one apple air Mac to another one?

The easiest way would be iCloud Photos Library. If you are storing your photos in iCloud you need just to create a new, empty Photos Library on your new Mac and then enable iCloud Photos. The Photos library will then sync from iCloud to the new Mac.

Without iCloud copy the Photos Library from the Pictures folder of the older Mac to an external drive - the external drive needs to be prepared as described here: Move your Photos library to save space on your Mac - Apple Support

Then copy the library from the external drive to the Pictures folder on your new Mac.

You mean for a few selected photos, OT? Air Drop would be great for that that.

I thought Sally wants to transfer the complete Photos Library. Transferring the complete library between two macs requires to find a way to copy without ownerships problems, then connecting the Macs in target Disk mode or a sneaker drive with ownership ignored would be best. when transferring the complete library over the air we might have to zip it to save the internal links. I have never tried to airdrop really large files.

Another method is to AirDrop them.
