After latest update my iPad Pro no longer syncs with gmail for messages read

How to get ipad to sync with other computers and cell phone when emails read in safari but show up as unread on other devices. Issue started after download of latest software update. Issue between safari and gmail. No issue with items read on say cell phone(android) show up as read on iPad.

Mail App not syncing between my iPad and iPhone. i did not change any setting and when i now read and delete emails on one of the two devices they still show up unread and not deleted on the other one…. extremely frustrating and annoying! [Re-Titled by Moderator]
