My Photo Stream & Shared Photo Streams

How do I make sure I don't lose all of my Shared Photo Streams? And, is there something that will replace this feature?

My Photo Stream and Share Photo Albums are two totally separate features and have no interconnection. So when the MPS is discontinued the Share Photo Albums will not be affected.

Apple has already replaced My Photo Stream in 2015 by iCloud Photos. Apple has just kept My Photo Stream up and running for several years, so the users with older devices that could not be updated to system versions that support iCloud Photos could still sync there photos. Also the iPhoto and Aperture users could not use iCloud Photos - it requires the Photos.app. But by now, eight years later, all apps and system versions that needed My Photo Stream are out of service, and after giving us eight years of grace to finish our projects Apple is finally pulling the plug. users who are still using iPhoto or Aperture have to revert to manual syncing or finally replace Aperture or iPhoto by a different photo manager.
