Slow M1 iMac

Barely 90 mbps on M1 iMac. Internet tech left awhile ago, confirmed receiving 300+ mbps; showed me on his meter and I am getting +400 on my iPhone. Reading through the posts noticed one about usb-c adapters, which I'm using for back up disc, keyboard, and ethernet adapter (Belkin). I thought, what the ****. Unplugged the adapter and re-ran SpeedTest..... 360 mbps. Apparently that's what happens when you don't have enough ports on the ***** computer.

... and didn't it come with a 143W power adapter?

Sorry, but your post is certainly confusing me. If the issue was that it didn't have enough ports and you elected to use another solution that included using the Belkin Ethernet adapter, I don't understand why you would use this adapter instead of the built-in Ethernet port.

Then again, you didn't specifically request any assistance. Just posted the issue(s) you were having. Sorry, but we can only go on what you provide us in your posts.
