Apple Cash request but was not me
Why did my brother in law get a request from Apple Cash to send money to me when I had not requested it?

It’s a SCAM. Your brother-in-law probably got the message because his email or other information was public or possibly hacked or people he knows had their account hacked. If you didn’t send it, it’s a SCAM.
How did he receive it? Cash requests are only sent through Apple Messages. Not through email or any other methods.
