Profanity Filter?

Apple Music is filtering the profanity and I have read past forums about turning off Dolby Atoms and it’s no help. Any other ideas?

Hello JTCRPA,

Apple Music shouldn't be doing this unless you downloaded / added the non explicit version to your playlists. The only thing I could think that would be causing this is parent controls.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Screen Time
  3. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions

Is Content & Privacy Restrictions toggled on or off?

If it's off, turn it on temporarily to follow along

  1. Tap on Content Restrictions

Is Music, Podcasts, & News set to Explicit or is it set to something else?

Dolby Atoms should have no control over profanity within Apple Music (to my knowledge).
