Hey, robash13,

I can see that you want to change the WiFi Network your printer is using. I have searched around and found some instructions from Canon about your printer on how to change the network. Here are the instructions for the Canon PRINT inkjet app https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART162563&_gl=1*npl323*_ga*Mjk5NDMyOTkuMTY4NTM5MTc5Ng..*_ga_RS2XCXV1Y7*MTY4ODI2MTExNS4yLjEuMTY4ODI2MTE0MC4zNS4wLjA.

Here are the instructions for Apple AirPrint setup https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART169241&_gl=1*s46aw6*_ga*Mjk5NDMyOTkuMTY4NTM5MTc5Ng..*_ga_RS2XCXV1Y7*MTY4ODI2MTExNS4yLjEuMTY4ODI2MTIzNS42MC4wLjA.

Also, once you have the correct Wi-Fi settings for the printer (and the iPhone), it is still possible that the iPhone will not recognise/detect an AirPrint printer. If so, you may want to try a full power cycle sequence (do not forget the router):

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the iPhone, and all iPads/Macs/other computers or devices connected to the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Finally, power on any iPads/Macs/other computers or devices.

In order to print from your iPhone, your printer the following will be required:

  • Your printer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your iPhone is connected to. If your printer is not currently connected, you will need to refer to your printer's owner's manual to learn how you would connect it to your local wireless network.
  • Your printer must support Apple's AirPrint protocol. According to the reference support article, it is.
