I have a strict set up on screen time on my kids iPhone. This week it keep unlocking itself to no set time or apps. And I have to go back in to reset it. I can keep doing this every 30 mins. They have to have the phone for emergency but I shouldn’t have to reset restrictions to every 30 mins. Help me out. What is going on?

I have all of those already set up, but it seems to be ignoring my restrictions. Both my iPhone and kids iPads are updated also. It works for one child and not the other.
There is even worse flaw that allows to bypass content restrictions (allowed sites only) in few seconds.
This should be no brainer for every kid.
For instance to access twitter.com:
If you add a PIN they cant change this themselves.
Apple support had me change the Name of the devices in question under the Settings->General area and that seems (so far) to have solved this for me.

Are all devices in the family group fully up to date wrt IOS sofware versions?
Updating every single device used by the family group solved it for me.
Same here - screen time is completely not fit for purpose currently. During school holidays as well when an effective solution is needed more so than ever. It’s also incredibly slow to activate, limits disappear Apple really need to offer an effective solution.
I can confirm this (Changing device name) did NOT work. Today I see all my kid's devices have full access again
