Do you have another device nearby? I would advise running an Internet Speed Test on both devices. If the results are the same/similar then the issue is with your Wi-Fi network (ISP) not the iPhone.

If it turns out to be your iPhone, you could try the following:

  1. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  2. If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support (Mainly step 7, but I'd go through the entire checklist).

Hello caz1969,

If the problem persists only on your Wi-Fi, there is a good chance it is not your iPhone and it's your Wi-Fi plan. Did you recently lower your Internet plan or has coverage been bad near you recently? I'd advise doing an Internet speed check and if it doesn't match with what you're paying for, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

I’m having similar issues!! But mine’s happens on Wi-Fi and when not on Wi-Fi.. when I go to like Amazon it will drag for ever before it will open. Then once it opens all the pictures say, error having trouble loading please try again!! It will keep doing this if on Wi-Fi or not. This happens when I try to google something!! Even opening my pictures. It tends to be doing this ever since I did the last update 16.5.1 update!! It’s really making me mad!! I’ve never ever had issues with my iPhone 11 since I’ve had it!! I’m not sure what can be done to fix this either!!
