Can I Migrate an iMac 27" fully to MacBook Air M2?
iMac 27″, macOS 13.4
Migrating your entire iMac 27" setup to a MacBook Air M2 is not a straightforward process. While it is possible to transfer your files, settings, and applications, there are several considerations to keep in mind:
File Transfer:
To migrate your files from the iMac 27" to the MacBook Air M2, you can use Apple's Migration Assistant, which allows you to transfer your user accounts, applications, files, and settings from one Mac to another. You can connect both devices using a Thunderbolt or USB-C cable, or you can use Wi-Fi for the migration process. Keep in mind that the MacBook Air M2 might have limited storage capacity compared to the iMac, so you may need to prioritize and selectively transfer your files.

OK, thanks. Both iMac 27" and MacBook Air M2 will have same size hard drive, so I gather this will not be a problem.
It shouldn’t be a problem. The Migration Assistant is great.
