External Hard Drive keeps spinning

Hello people,

It's been many years that I'm just accepting the situation, but ... enough ! Please tell me more than every subject about it I found, I will try to give more informations too.

My MacBook Pro keeps accessing to HardDrive, making a lot of noise, even if :

  • I don't use at all Time Machine, completely disabled.
  • I don't use any firewall, antivirus.
  • I Force quit every app and relaunch Finder.
  • It is surely not the hard drive, because on my windows computer, hard drive is completely silent when not used.
  • I clean/format my MacBook with the last macOS update (this is what I just made)

I formated my MacBook Pro because of Dyld cache files crazily inflating, and I expect it to happen again in few months, but I was wondering too if this is something related with this Full-time external hard drive activity ....

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11
