iPhone Music Sound Quality

I upgraded from iPhone 6 Plus to iPhone 13, and the difference in music playback sound quality is huge, the iPhone 6 sounds a lot better on all my speakers. IPhone 13 has no base, lower volume, no way to equalize sound, I am getting headaches from such bad sound quality, it sounds very tiny, there is now whole fullness to the iPhone 13 sound. I can still return it, wondering if the iPhone 14 is any better?

Apple might replace the battery for $75 bucks or so, have you tried that? Otherwise there’s literally thousands refurbished available on eBay. You’re not alone to reject Apple’s newer phones, it’s an entire community!

That was my intention, I have kept it for in full use for as long as I have been able to, but it is showing signs of its age in speed and battery drainage, can hardly keep a charge, it is only 32 gig, I just gotten tired of all the limitations, so am ready for something faster, better battery and more storage. The reason I have kept that phone for so long is the excellent music audio reproduction, unfortunately the 13 is not even remotely comparable, the iPhone 13 sounds horrible, no bass, tiny, tinfoil, very digital, very disappointing because the iPhone evolved from an iPod, a purely music device, iPhones in general used to be top tier sounding devices, not anymore unfortunately.
