phone is answering calls on its own
Why does my phone answer phone calls on its own? I have the auto answer feature turned off and yet it still answers on its own

What might “answer phone calls on its own” mean exactly?
Some possible meanings:
- Says “Hello” after a ring or two. That would be extraordinary behavior.
- Goes to voicemail after four or five rings. That is standard behavior governed by your cellular carrier.
- Goes to voicemail immediately. That would occur in a “Do Not Disturb” scenario.
