Mail Message List Spacing

Good day ... I just upgraded to an M1 - which also meant going from Catalina (on my MBP) to Monterey. I know this is a petty issue to bring up, however it's kind of really starting to bothering me.

The first attachment is my inbox message list in Catalina (15.4" display w/ lower resolution - Font = Helvetica 11. Spacing is very compact between message lines

The second attachment is my inbox message list in Monterey (16.2' display w/ high resolution - Font = Helvetica 11. Spacing is very wide between message lines

Any potential ideas or suggestions concerning reducing the message list spacing would be sincerely appreciate. Thank you in advance. Have a good holiday week?
