Apple Cash

Hi! For the past few months, I’ve been unable to send money from Apple Cash to my Bank of America Card. I can receive funds fine. When trying to send, I receive a message stating Address Verification Failure and to check my name and billing address is correct. Yes it is. Nothing has changed with my address or bank in almost 20 years. This used to work fine.

Last month, I spent almost 2 hours on the book with a rep trying different cards, tweeking the address, even though both name and address match exactly, down to my middle initial. The only thing that I noticed was different is the email address so I made sure to add both emails addresses to both Apple and the bank. Still doesn’t work. I currently have a situation where I need to get some cash onto my card for my grandson and Apple Pay is not accepted. Yes I could do this another way, but this money is put in my Apple Cash account to be used specifically for my grandson.

My phone is an iPhone 12, and iOS is completely up-to-date. I’ll call again tomorrow, but if there are any other solutions, someone can offer I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry for the long message.
