Unrecognised albums being added to Apple Music

I saw several unrecognised albums in my Apple Music and I don't even understand the language of the songs in those albums. Which definitely means that I have never added them to my library in the past and never will.

How are these unrecognised albums are being added?

Would they have been added when I added some curated playlists from Apple Music to my library? Even then, the songs present in those albums being of completely different language should not be present in those playlists.

Hello arjun_1,

It's expected behavior for Apple Music to add songs to your Apple Music Library when you add those same songs to a playlist you've created.

However, you mentioned these specific albums being in another language. Does that mean when you view these playlists and the songs you added to them, they are also in another language or are they in the correct language for your region? Do you use more than one device with Apple Music? For example, a HomePod? If so, could others add content to your library from the HomePod?

If you're concerned about your account, you can always take these steps to help secure it: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised You can also use these steps to check where you're signed in: Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in

Hoping this helps out.

Take care.

Yes! Its a mess - What are Apple doing..... For My ACDC album "Dirty Deeds done Cheap" i get a Showaddywaddy album - this is not in my collection at all!! ACDC´s Flick of the Wrist I also get some unknown showaddywaddy album! Its all correct in my I-tunes and I'm synching manually because I quit Apple Music due to too many problems with interfering with my music library!!!!!!!! How does that work Apple?

This happens very, very often - too often. The only solution I've found is to scan the album cover myself and upload this manually - even then some tracks throws up spurious covers and I have to upload the cover into every individual song. With a large library this is an awful lot of work.

Apple should make an Apple Music route and an I-Pod route, where the I-pod route is only via your library on private disks!

Another solution is to go over to Spotify!!
