ISO 16, "Hide My Email"

I'm looking for a better answer to the following question.

ISO 16, "Hide My Email" just appeared in my Outlook new mail generation, above the keyboard. I frequently send emails to myself and use my email that would normally appear. Now the default is "Hide My Email". How to I get it Back?

I received a response showing my how to create a "Hide My Email Address" and how the "Deactivate a Hide My Email Address" but they don't read my quest thoroughly. I didn't sign up for "Hide My Email". I do not want to create and account, then remove it, that makes ZERO sense!

I just want my email address back in this position.

hello

the hide my email function was introduced with iOS16. to my understanding, you can only use this feature if you are subscribed to iCloud+. i dont think anyone without the subscription can use this option.

alternatively, what you can do is set your iCloud Email on your contacts profile. the Autofill Feature should popup and allow you to autofill your email into the field.
