Hello jayne3b,

The first thing we recommend in situations like this is to power cycle all the devices involved. While simple, this can refresh the operating systems, apps and connections.

According to How to find saved passwords and passkeys on your iPhone - Apple Support, you should be able to view saved passwords by following these steps:

1. Tap Settings, then select Passwords. In iOS 13 or earlier, select Passwords & Accounts, then tap Website & App Passwords.
2. Use Face ID or Touch ID when prompted, or enter your passcode.
See security recommendations and your saved passwords or passkeys in iOS 16 through Settings > Passwords.
3. To see a password or passkey, select a website or app.  An iPhone shows the account details for the user's Apple account including the User Name and Password.
• To delete a saved password or passkey, tap Delete Password or Delete Passkey.
• To update a password or passkey, tap Edit.

There is additional help there if you are not seeing your saved passwords.

Cheers.

good question. I certainly should be, but this too has always presented problems, i.e., how to find various iCloud accounts and how to delete without loosing data. I have checked total storage to see if matched on all devices and it does. I'm going to go to apple desk to try and solve this once and for all.

jayne3b,

Did you keep your password in iCloud Keychain? This would be the service where they are saved. If they are not syncing, try the steps here specifically related to issues syncing them: If iCloud Keychain won't turn on or sync - Apple Support

Specifically, the section under "If you don't see your iCloud Keychain items."

If you still don't see them or can't get them synced, reach out to Apple directly as they'd be in a better position to look into this further with you: Get Support

Take care.

Not sure what you mean by “finding various iCloud accounts.” You should only have one. If you sync all of your devices using that Apple ID, data will sync across all devices; e.g. items deleted on one device are deleted everywhere. Check settings-apple ID on iDevices and system settings-Apple ID to ensure that you are logged into the same Apple ID
