Are these Airpods Original or Fake ?

Counterfeits can be extremely hard to distinguish - even in a side-by-side comparison.

There’s no way we can assess it online.

Known legitimate serial numbers can be counterfeited as well.

If having a genuine product is an important criteria, it must be purchased from Apple - or an authorized reseller - and it’s tamper evident seals broken by the purchaser.

Otherwise, it’s a crap-shoot w/ the odds HEAVILY stacked against them being genuine.

If not purchased from Apple or authorized Apple seller, there is a good chance they are not original with all of the fake AirPods being distributed. They will all look the same and even have spoofed serial numbers. The problems with the fake ones are usually:

• Poor audio quality
• Find My may not work
• Noise cancellation is poor or not existent
• No AppleCare support
• Problems with pairing or decreased range
• Decreased usage time on battery charge

Other than that, if you are happy with them, then that is all that matters.

Additional to Mac Jim ID’s list, the easiest points to notice with counterfeit are probably no software updates, and in many cases the properties screen displayed by Settings/Bluetooth is nothing like the real thing.

Looks genuine to me, when comparing your photo to my AirPods Pro 2's.
