GarageBand Beachball of Doom

Trying to share a project to disc and getting the never ending spinning colours. If I force quit, will I lose all my hours of editing? 😢

GarageBand audio duplicating and repeating after recording is stopped Create new track (opt/cmd/N), record - audio track appears normal as it records, hit spacebar to stop and audio file duplicates itself after the play head. This is a new problem on previously fully functioning project. I can still record but have to select/delete the duplicate files after. garageband I accidentally cancelled the work I was doing on Garageband file. When I open the file now it is blank. Only the title remains. What can I do? I saved an earlier version. How can I find that?

Garageband update problem with tonewheel organ Just updated to the latest version of GB (Nov 23) I select Vintage B3 Organ then select tone wheel organ (or any of the others) and the image of the organ with the drawbars etc, disappears, to be replaced with 4 black dials, after hitting a key on my midi keyboard I then click the revert button, changes back to the original image for about a millisecond, and won't change back....no use for using the drawbars etc.....HELP!! I didn't back up the previous version on Time Machine.

If you quit you quit; what's not saved will be lost. It's always best to save data in small steps rather than only at the end of a long session containing large numbers of edits and newly created data.

I don't use GB, but some programs have an auto save. Check if GB has that feature in its preferences or settings..
