How can I find the serial number for a lost iPhone?

How can I find the serial number for a lost phone? I only have the imei number from my service provider. I need the serial number in order to file a claim with Apple Care.

You may use a web browser to get the Serial Number and the IMEI Number. You cannot track using the IMEI number. but you may need it so keep it handy

Log in to https://appleid.apple.com with your Apple ID credentials. All your devices will be listed there. Click on any to get the details.

Finding the Serial Number:

A. Look on the Original Packaging. I keep my organ packing for instances like this. So, if you have it, it would be right on the back of the box.


B. Look on a Packaging Invoice:

If this was mail to you (not picked up in the store), then look at the packaging invoice.


C. Look on your Carrier's Site:

Logging in to my carriers site, I can see mentioned under this device.
