Hi!
It is unable to be disabled because it is created on iClooud.com and can only be changed from there which means a specific device cannot stop receiving emails from the alias.

Hi Ted Woodrow!
To disable one email address on only one device, follow these steps on the device you want to remove the email from:
[Settings > Mail > Accounts]
Then choose the account you want to delete. The iCloud Account cannot be deleted from the mail app.

Thank you for responding. Your answer doesn't quite help me yet. I have three Apple email aliases and three different Apple devices (MBP, iPad and iPhone) that are all synchronized to mail through iCloud. All three devices currently receive email through all three aliases all the time.
Is it possible to disable one of those aliases from one of those devices? The specific device would still receive emails directed to the other two Apple email aliases.
I don't want or need to delete an account or any of my three aliases. I want to suppress synchronization of emails directed to one of those aliases on one the three devices. Can that be done? Thanks, much!
Hi!
The answer to the question is still the same because when you delete the account, it will tell you that it is only deleting the account from that specific device. This photo will help explain:
If you need help still, I’m happy to help.

I appreciate your patience ... there may be something I'm not getting yet. It seems to me that if I delete the account from the iPhone - all email aliases associated with that account will no longer be synchronized with the iPhone. IOW - the iPhone would no longer get any email directed at any of the aliases.
Imagine I have an Apple ID mail account of John.doe@icloud.com. I have three aliases created under John.doe@icloud.com ... John.doe1 (personal email), John.doe2 (business email) and John.doe3 (a discard junk email address used for sites where I don't want to expose my important email addresses). And - in this example - I'd like to suppress John.doe3@icloud.com from the iPhone only. John.doe3@icloud.com would still be synched with the iPad and desktop.
My suspicion is that there is no way to do this. Your thoughts, please.

OK - thank you for your information. That confirms what I thought would be true.
