Hi there!
This Apple Support article should be helpful: If emails appear to be missing in Mail on Mac - Apple Support:
* If you use more than one email account in Mail, make sure you’re looking at messages for the correct account.
* If you sorted messages, they may be in the list but not in the order you expect.
* If the missing emails are from a specific person or group, check whether you blocked messages from them.
* If you use rules, they may have moved messages to other mailboxes. Try searching for the messages.
* Check the account’s Recovered Messages mailbox, if available in the Mail sidebar.
* Quit Mail, then reopen it.
If the problem persists, you may need to rebuild a mailbox.
If you set up Time Machine to back up files on your Mac, you can use the backups to restore content that Mail downloaded (based on options set in Mail and on your Mac). See Restore items backed up with Time Machine.

If you Inbox is missing, hover over "Favorites" and note the little gray encircled "+" sign on the line. Click that, then click the blue expansion arrows and add any missing items you need to.
If the "+" keeps disappearing on you, shut down and reopen mail then hover.
Emails are not missing, I don’t think. The little blue envelope has the number 26 in top top right hand corner. To me that means I have 26 emails. I have gone through and clicked on all accounts, but nothing appears in any of my 3 accounts.
Thanks!
I’d recommend following the steps to rebuild your mailboxes: Rebuild mailboxes in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.

I am going to try the rebuild mailbox. I am a 75 year old Sr. ,so I am self taught on this MAC (new to me in March 2023). Trying to figure it out. Thank you for your suggestions. Hope I can figure that out.
