I accidentally swiped ignore on an email on my iPhone. How can I get it back? I do not have this option on anything but my iPhone. Going to unblock does not work. I wish there was a way to disable the ignore option.
iCloud. Checked my blocked senders list just to make sure it was not there. Then restarted Apple Mail and the ignored email reappeared in the thread. Don’t know what happened, but did find a comment that the “ignore” function just removes the email from the thread. Maybe it is only temporary?
Fortunately did not have to go through that arduous process! Thank you anyway. Will keep it in mind for future use.

Perform the Export:
For the sake of not losing your current Mail Library, I would recommend you export it while it exists. It may be gone in just a moment. So, disconnect from a network, and export it all. It would be wise, IMO.

My accidental “ignore” action, removed an email in the Today list of new emails. I didn’t get a chance to see a thread it was involved with, if it was at all OR what email provider it was with? The “ignore” function is a bad function!
