Count only one occurrence on each day

Hello all. I am sure its staring right at me but can someone make a suggestion please.

In COL B I have dates depending on how many flights I do in a day I have multiple rows for that Day between 1-7.

I want to count the Days I work "T1, T2, NMP" and find my totals for that month on how many days I worked.

I tried a pivot table but it counts all the T1, T2, NMP and does not reflect the correct number of days I worked.

Any suggestions please......

Maybe another table ? I want total days worked for Every Month of each year.

Don't give up on the Pivot Table too quickly!

You get to Field Options by clicking the circled i. Count (Unique) counts each day only once.

The filter looks like this:

You probably have NMP in addition to that but I couldn't see that in your screenshot. When you apply the filter the Pivot Table will count only the days on which you had one of the checked shifts.

You can also filter for only the month you want to see.

No trouble at all.

There are so many ways of configuring a Pivot Table that it is often hard to find what you're looking for. Simply exploring and trying different things can often be the best way to discover what is possible.

Thanks for the green tick!

P.S. If you change things in your data table don't forget to go to Organize > Refresh Pivot Table.
