Macbook Pro won't go into Recovery Mode

Hi,

I have a 2016 15" Macbook Pro

My main issue is that the screen is broken. I wanted to reinstall macOS on it, so I started up recovery mode and went with the usual steps, everything went just fine until it didn't, and it showed an error message after 2 hours of installing the OS. It was connected to an external display because the main retina is broken. So I tried to restart the macbook and do it all over again, but it didn't go into recovery mode. When I close the lid, nothing happens on the external display. I tried Option+Comman+Shift+power, tried Option+Command+Shift tried Option+Comman+R tried Option+Comman+P+R. I think that it's stuck at the internet recovery page, but it won't show it on the external monitor, so I can't see any ways to type the wifi password and go with the process.

If there's any way you guys can help me, I would be really grateful.

Yes I've tried that as well. I do have another mac and I made the installer, but the screen doesn't work, so I've no idea where i am......Even if I press option the boot up device select menu won't come up on the external display, if I close the lid, it just goes dark. I'm 100% the macbook works, but it won't diplay out to the external monitor in the state where it is. If I somehow manage to boot up in recovery mode, then I'm good to go. My adapter works, the monitor works, and the macbooks ports are fine. I just don't know......
