can I swap esims between iphones daily

Work gave me an iPhone SE which led me to leave android and get an iPhone 14 PM. I have both work and personal numbers on the 14 PM. However, I am going to be out of the office and on the street for awhile and would rather risk their phone than mine. Is it possible (and easy) to switch the esims back and forth between the phones daily? IE: Use the SE on duty with both numbers then switch both number to my personal phone when I am off duty? I don't want to carry two phones and I in my position I need to be able to be reachable.

iPhone SE, 16

Suspect that it would never be “easy” as presumably the business’ name is on the the business’ carrier account.

From a carrier perspective, this would certainly “look” like SIM-Swap fraud; something for which all carriers should be “on-guard”

Have you possibly considered and tested call-forwarding; to simply send your personal calls to the SE while on-duty ?

Both VZ (I’m told) and T-Mo provide subscriber eSIM self-servicing via their customer account management websites.

If both lines were in your name and on the same carrier, I’d be much more optimistic of your prospects for success.

I also “wonder” if the business phone (SE) is even “carrier unlocked” so as to be able to use multiple carriers ??? (subsidized devices are a common method to reduce up-front costs - an important consideration for ANY business when purchasing mobile devices and service plans)

Looking forward to hearing more of your experiences.

I never thought of SIM-Swap fraud since I was able to do it with physical sim cards. I just started testing it at work so I will update this as I go. So far it has worked for my work number from Verizon. I thought it might as I did it with no problems in the store when I got my personal phone set up (T Mobile). Again, never thought of being flagged for fraud though.
