I have had an Airpods Pro for about a year and a half, but lately I have noticed the noise cancellation not working, crackling and static, and an increase in background sounds. I took it to the Apple store at Augusta Mall, Georgia, and they notified me that my device is not covered by warranty (only a year from the manufactory), but this issue is a recall from my specific model. Why they are trying to charge a fee close to $180.00 makes no sense to me because I paid $199 on Base (Army and Air Force Post Exchange PX), so I would like you to help me with this inconvenience.
