how can I update my os on my mac beyond high sierra ?

How can I continue to get os updates beyond high sierra? Safaris is only at 13.1 and needs to be updated? Thanks

What does it say for the model year in the About This Mac dialog in the Apple () menu?

If it turns out that your machine cannot upgrade to a more recent version of macOS (to get a more recent version of Safari), you might consider using Firefox for some of your Web browsing.

The High Sierra version of Firefox is still getting updates.
