All of a sudden I cannot connect my Magic Mouse on my IMAC 2019 but can connect Blue Tooth on my iPad Pro 10.5 /2017. I have turned Blue Tooth off and on ,rebooted and turned the Mouse off and on etc with no success. I would appreciate anyones comments who have experienced this problem and if they managed to resolve it. Thanks

I got a new Magic Mouse from Apple under the Apple Care Program and everything is working fine now. However,they seem to doubt there was a problem with the Mouse. While I was waiting for the Mouse from Apple I did discover there seems to be a connectivity problem caused by my iPad Pro which was situated close to my iMac. There was mention on the iPad that if BlueTooth is activated on the iPad it can create connectivity issues? When I turned BlueTooth off on the iPad I immediately connected to my iMac but was not sure if it would disconnect later but got the new Mouse same day and had to turn it in at the Apple Store so will never know if it would have disconnected as before. In reality i now think that having Bluetooth on the iPad and iMac was the problem. Is Bluetooth on the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air? I am a relatively a rookie at these problems and would be interesting if you get your problem resolved.Good Luck
Yes I have tried all those steps without success. I have since heard Apple is going to send me a new Magic Mouse under the Apple Care coverage. However because the Mouse connects to the to the IPAD, that would seem to indicate the Magic Mouse is working? Do you think it is possible to it could work on one unit and not the other? Appreciate your help!
When I receive the new Magic Mouse from Apple I will post the result if it works.In the meantime I have installed an Android Mouse and it works perfectly? Thanks again for your interest in my problem.
Having a simiar problem. I have a magic mouse that's worked for years; just got a new Macbook Air and it won't actually connect. It will register on the device, but then disconnect immediately.
It works fine on my old Macbook Pro.
Let me know if you find a fix; tried everything I found online to no avail.
It does seem unusual that it work on another device and still be a problem in the Mouse but I don't have any other ideas.
