Numbers
Looking for time keeping. I need to be able to take a punch in / out time and convert it to a number...
4:36 PM to 9:44 PM = 5.25 hours.

Hi cigarete,
Using your example 4:36 PM to 9:44 PM in Row 2:
The function DUR2HOURS is your friend.
Formula in D2: DUR2HOURS(C2−B2)
Fill down.
Column D is a number.
Sorry to disappoint you, but to achieve 5.25 hours, you must punch out at 9:51 (row3).
However, I see the point of your question 😎.
Regards,
Ian.

Ty so much! All the Googling and the only thing I could find in a thread was this was one of the functions Numbers does not support.
