How do I take activation lock off ?
I have an iPad and I brought off of Amazon and now it’s on activation lock and I don’t have a Apple ID link to it and Apple is not really helpful right now

Return the iPad for refund or exchange.
If the iPad disabled or Activation Locked, unless you can independently obtain assistance from the previous owner (or whoever set-up and previously returned the iPad to Amazon) the iPad is and will remain useless to you. If purchased as a pre-owned device - and you are able to contact the original owner - they will require this information:

Return this iPad from where you purchased.
If purchased from Amazon, make sure the purchase waa actually from Amazon, itself, and NOT thru a third party doing business through Amazon.
